Strategy and Tactics

Things like Fire Emblem... (not that I've obsessively finished every game in that franchise or anything) and Final Fantasy Tactics

I like them quite a lot. Anyways, discuss your favorites here!
*tries really hard to think of other strategy games* I know there are others... I fail to think of any, though.
(Curse friends not telling me the names of games. Curse leaky memory. Curse the two in conjunction.)

... speaking of Final Fantasy Tactics, does anyone know if it's good? I've been meaning to locate and play it, but if it sucks, then I'll pass.

I am a fan of Fire Emblem myself, and FF tactics too.(Kuro, it is a wonderful game that has a great plot. i highly reccomend it.) I play alot of strategy games myself, I like my action games, but most of my shelf is tactic/strategy/thinking games. Agarest war, Cross Edge...I guess those ones count as strategy?^^' When i remember more of whats on my shelf, i'll type it here.

hey, how are the graphics on FFT? I mean, I'm not expecting Michaelangelo of animation, but... are they at least ok? Graphics are something that really get to me, which is one of the reasons I like Fire Emblem so much.

It depends on the version you're playing. i think the one for the PSP is better than the original. and they're very nice for a PSP game i think....

They are, but sometimes they are needed. Hmm....Yggdra Union for the PSP was fun as well. It had good music, thats for sure. Not to mention that the art was really cute as well.

So, it seems that there's a new Fire Emblem game in the making for 3DS... Luckily, the kids I frequently babysit have such a device. I think I'll be buying it "for them" when it comes out in America so I can play it while they're asleep! Hopefully the 3D won't hurt my head too badly...

Oooh cool!! Well, i've played a 3DS once, the 3D is really cool! the 3D portion is alright, and you can adjust it i believe...

Hahah, speaking of the 3DS, my mother just got one along with LoZ.....its awesome, but knowing that your mother got the newest game system before you.....i-its an odd feeling really.
