This can be a touchy topic... of course, it's my understanding that it's also more common in the US than elsewhere (God DAMN it).
So, what's everyone's opinions on book banning?
I think it's ridiculous. Every time I hear that a book got banned, I think, "Oh, hey, that's probably a good read" and go out to buy it, because it's true; books that get banned are usually really good, because they've got something to say and they don't beat around the bush with it. I have a whole bookshelf of banned books, because it's my Recommended shelf!
(In case you're wondering, my personal library has a better selection than either of the two public libraries around here, so I lend a lot of books out)
